LAST TIME IN TEXAS
(the single cut from SIZZLIN')
Our cover art of Nona Lee is seen here in El Paso, Texas back in the1930's when she was demonstrating her sharpshooting abilities she learned from her mother who was a trick-rider and shooter in her own brother's Marvelous Fields Brother's Traveling Medicine Show.
(A note of trivia is that Gene Autry ran away from home to join this Marvelous Fields Brother's Traveling Medicine Show when Gene was 16! And Nona's brother Stan is the guitar player on Gene Autry's all-time great Smithsonian recording, "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer"!)
Patty Lee Records just knew this picture had to be the cover of Armand St. Martin's single, "LAST TIME IN TEXAS", which is a fast-dancin' Texas swing cut off his CD, SIZZLIN'.
